december somehow, always seems a blur. every year. our days and weeks are full which always make this month fly by. we are trying harder than ever to soak in the christmas fun and excitement. and i'm doing better than last year in the my own family christmas picture taking.
what we've been up to the last few days other than the usual busyness...
gift wrapping at our church.
a mission project organized by mrs. celeste
anna katherine learned the art of pretty, neat wrapping!
mary claire tried her best... i had to secretly unwrap and rewrap a few of her gifts. but she sure was trying hard and by the end... her wrapping skills had grown by leaps and bounds!
mrs. paulette and her giving spirit had about a thousand gifts. seriously a couple hundred. for the first two hours the entire room was wrapping just for her. but that's what this mission is all about, helping kind and giving people just like her!
for school parties, i volunteer to be an indian...
not the chief party planner.
they're pretty intense.
my duty, craft and cupcakes... can-do!
i used our GA craft from last year.
the boykin christmas parade.
it was dreary and rainy, but not cold.
go ahead... eat your heart out...
my husband was looking pretty sassy in the hoodie and black rimmed reading glasses.
allie and anna katherine.
allie's grandmother owns the town of boykin... really!
(and what's up with the guy in the background)
